Aliki is an author with a diverse background: having family from Greece and Switzerland, she writes and illustrates her books. At a young age, her parents noticed a gift of drawing, and she went to and graduated from the Philadelphia Museum School of Art.
I enjoyed these books because though basic, they give information and facts on how our feet and hands are composed, and all the things we do with them everyday. The artwork is terrific, too, very bold and colorful. What I enjoyed most about this book was that it didn't only have facts about our feet and hands, but as stated above, all the things we do with them everyday.
I would use these books with younger children, especially those who are learning the basics of the human body. I would say these books are geared towards the baby/toddler child to lower elementary students. Great simple books with bright artwork!
